Leadership Requires Very Harsh Decisions – Shettima

The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, has defended the economic policies of the Bola Tinubu administration, stating that leadership involves taking hard, harsh decisions in the overall interest of the country.

Speaking on Monday at the Lagos State investment summit, the Vice President submitted that leaders cannot always make nice decisions because they don’t take action based on emotion.

He also praised Lagos State as the economic gateway not only to Nigeria, but to the entire West African sub-region.

“If you want to be a nice man, you can go and sell ice cream, but leadership requires you to take very harsh decisions,” Shettima said.
