Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan finished second in 12.34 seconds, while Nadine Visser of the Netherlands completed the podium in 12.39 seconds. Jamaica’s Megan Simmonds also impressed with a season-best performance to finish fifth.
Russell’s victory further strengthens her status among the leading hurdlers in the world, having already won Olympic gold and established herself as a world-record holder.
