Mick Jagger dazzles at NYC Ballet’s Spring Fashion Gala with Fiancee

Legendary rock icon Mick Jagger, 82, put on a jovial display as he attended the NYC Ballet’s Spring Fashion Gala alongside his stunning fiancée, Melanie Hamrick, 38, on Thursday night.

The pair, who have been together for over a decade, turned heads on the red carpet, showcasing their undeniable chemistry.

Jagger, ever the style icon, looked effortlessly cool in a skinny-cut suit, paired with black trainers for comfort, in line with his usual laid-back yet stylish approach. Meanwhile, Hamrick, a professional dancer, stole the spotlight in a dazzling silver gown that highlighted her lithe physique and graceful presence. The bedazzled gown featured a sculpted top, complementing her striking beauty.

Despite the elegant affair, Mick was in a playful mood, waving at cameras and pulling a series of silly faces while switching his glasses on and off, showing his lighthearted side. His spirited display kept the paparazzi entertained, solidifying his reputation as a rockstar who never shies away from having fun.

The couple’s relationship has remained strong since they first met in 2014. However, it wasn’t until April 2026 that Hamrick revealed the couple had been engaged for two or three years, a piece of news that delighted their fans.

In 2016, Jagger and Hamrick welcomed their son, Deveraux Octavian Basil, who is Hamrick’s first child and Jagger’s eighth. Despite their 24-year age gap, the couple has always maintained a strong, supportive bond, with Hamrick previously stating that she doesn’t focus on their age difference, emphasizing the importance of living without concern for others’ opinions.

The pair met under serendipitous circumstances in 2014 when both the Rolling Stones and the American Ballet Theatre were on tour in Japan. Their connection quickly blossomed, leading to a relationship that has flourished over the years.

In addition to their family life, Mick and Melanie have collaborated on creative projects, including the ballet Porte Rouge, which featured Hamrick’s choreography set to Rolling Stones tracks. The couple has also shown a strong bond in their personal and professional lives, frequently attending events together.

Mick’s appearance at the NYC Ballet Gala follows his attendance earlier this week at the launch of the Rolling Stones’ new album, Foreign Tongues. Alongside bandmates Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, Mick celebrated the release of the 14-track album, which is set for official release on July 10. The album, which also features contributions from Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, and Robert Smith, continues the legacy of their Grammy Award-winning album, Hackney Diamonds.

Reflecting on the recording process, Mick Jagger shared his love for the intimate vibe at Metropolis Studios in West London, where Foreign Tongues was created in under a month. “It was a very intense few weeks recording the album,” he explained. “We went as fast as we could, but we had 14 great tracks.”
