All is now set for the inauguration of a newly registered support group, Renewed Hope People’s Empowerment Association (RHOPEA). The ceremony will be held on Saturday, 6th June 2026, at Google Arena Papa Area, off Airport Road, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital by 12.00 noon.
This was contained in a statement issued by the association’s National President, Honourable Sunday Obisesan.
According to him, the inauguration will mark a new beginning in the country-wide journey of empowering people who had hitherto been neglected by previous governments at various levels of the social strata.
The group, which membership cuts across all the nooks and crannies of the country, has the people at the bottom of the social ladder as its primary focus with a view to creating in them a sense of belonging within the larger society.
The ceremony will also have in attendance all state chairmen of the various chapters of RHOPEA in the country while further serving as an avenue to have their oaths of office.
The statement added that the inauguration would also kickstart an awareness campaign about how people can key into the various programs of the association with a view to improving their living conditions.
