Lagos State University, LASU, has denied allegations that some of its Law graduates were not mobilised to proceed to the Nigerian Law School.
The university made the clarification in a statement posted on X, saying records at its Faculty of Law showed that all graduates who had completed their studies and were eligible for mobilisation had been duly mobilised.
“The attention of the University Management has been drawn to an allegation concerning the non-mobilisation of some Law graduates to the Nigerian Law School,” LASU said.
The university explained that “records available at the Faculty of Law show that all students who have graduated and are eligible for mobilisation have been duly mobilised.”
LASU further stated that records at the University Registry confirmed that the Registrar had forwarded the list of mobilised graduates to the Nigerian Law School.
“Records at the University Registry also confirm that the University Registrar has forwarded the list of mobilised graduates to the Nigerian Law School,” the statement added.
The university advised all affected graduates to visit the Office of the Registrar to verify their mobilisation status and obtain any necessary clarification.
“Accordingly, all concerned graduates may proceed to the Office of the Registrar to confirm their mobilisation status and obtain any necessary clarification,” LASU said.
The institution reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that eligible graduates are not unnecessarily delayed in advancing to the next stage of their professional training.
“The University remains committed to ensuring that eligible graduates are not unduly delayed in proceeding to the next stage of their professional training,” it stated.
