The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Jumoke Oduwole, has met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, to explore ways of strengthening Nigeria’s trade and investment opportunities.

Oduwole disclosed this in a statement posted on her X handle on Tuesday, saying the meeting focused on deepening collaboration on trade, investment and bilateral priorities.

According to the minister, the discussions were aimed at expanding market access for Nigerian businesses, streamlining foreign capital inflows and positioning Nigeria as a competitive player in the global trading system.

“Discussions centered on further collaborating on trade, investment, and bilateral priorities to expand market access for Nigerian enterprise, streamline foreign capital inflows, and establish Nigeria as a competitive global trade partner,” Oduwole stated.

She added that she received Enikanolaiye on Monday, as both ministries explored areas of collaboration to advance Nigeria’s economic interests.
