The Ogun State Police Command has recovered a stolen 2016 Toyota Camry and handed it back to its rightful owner, an Indian national, Mr Abhay Singh.
The vehicle was recovered in Ifo following coordinated tracking, surveillance and anti-robbery operations by operatives of the command.
The police said the recovery followed a report that the vehicle had been stolen.
After verifying the ownership of the car, the command formally returned it to Singh at the Ifo Divisional Police Headquarters.
The vehicle was handed over by the Divisional Police Officer, Ifo Division, CSP Kamorudeen Olabisi.
The Ogun State Police Command said the recovery underscores its continued efforts to track stolen vehicles and combat robbery and other crimes across the state.
