The governor charged members of the boards and committees to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, humility, dedication and accountability.

“I charge all members to serve with integrity, humility, dedication and accountability, and remember that your appointments are a responsibility to the people and, ultimately, a responsibility before God,” Okpebholo said.

He urged the appointees to place the interests of Edo residents at the centre of their decisions and work collaboratively to achieve tangible results.

“Our people must remain at the centre of every decision we make,” the governor said.

He further urged the members to “work together, put the public interest first, and deliver meaningful results that will positively impact the lives of Edo people.”

Okpebholo congratulated the appointees and wished them wisdom, strength and God’s grace as they assume their respective responsibilities.

“Together, we will continue to build an Edo State that works for all,” the governor added.
