A video circulating on social media has sparked reactions after a Ghanaian pastor reportedly claimed to have discovered and removed an object he described as an “evil spirit” believed to be affecting the progress of a village.
According to reports accompanying the video, the pastor told residents that a spiritual force was allegedly responsible for the lack of prosperity in the community and warned that it needed to be removed for the people to experience improvement.
The pastor is said to have organised an excavation, during which an object was reportedly dug out from the ground.
The item, wrapped in red cloth and containing what appeared to be animal-like materials and other objects, was presented as the source of the alleged spiritual problem.
Residents who witnessed the process reportedly expressed relief, with some believing that the removal would bring positive changes to the community.
