President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed speculation about his health, declaring: “Ready to kick, ready to walk.
There’s nothing wrong.”
Tinubu made the statement after returning from vacation, amid concerns raised by some Nigerians and his well-wishers about his health towards the end of his holiday.
Asked how sound he was and whether he was ready for the next line of action, the President gave a brief assurance.
“Ready to kick, ready to walk. There’s nothing wrong,” he said.
Tinubu acknowledged that speculation was common in politics but insisted that his condition was clear.
“Rumour will always be emanating from politics,” he said.
“But the facts remain I’m here. Healthy, sound and ready to go.”
The President’s comments came as he resumed official duties following his vacation.
