A lady has shared an embarrassing experience she had while returning from work after discovering that her trousers had torn at the back without her knowledge.
According to the woman, she noticed several people staring at her on her way home but initially did not understand why.
She later joined a queue at a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stand and sat close to the front after boarding because she intended to alight before the final destination.

The woman said a man who appeared to be in his 40s got down at the same stop and approached her while she was listening to music through her earphones.
She recalled, “sister your bumbum is showing. I said what? He said your bumbum is showing.”
The revelation left her deeply embarrassed, especially because she said she was not wearing anything underneath the trousers at the time.
She explained that the tear was not in front, where she could easily have found a way to conceal it, but directly at the back.
Lady says she does not know how to face people again
The woman said the man offered her a handkerchief to cover herself, but she wondered how such a small item could properly conceal the tear.
Reflecting on the incident, she added, “If you happened to see me on the BRT today, I’m so sorry for what you saw”
She also joked that anyone who saw her travelling towards Kano or Kaduna should assume she was leaving to start a new life following the embarrassing experience.
