Nigerian skit maker Zicsaloma has advised people who start earning good money to be careful about friends and family members who are lazy, entitled or always dependent on them financially.
In a video shared online, he said some people expect successful friends to keep giving them money simply because they were there when they had nothing.
According to him, such people may spend the money they receive carelessly and return whenever they need more.
Zicsaloma also pointed out that earning money through legitimate means does not mean a person has money to share with everyone.
He explained that successful people still have businesses to support, investments to make and their own financial future to plan for.
The skit maker therefore advised people to distance themselves from relationships that constantly put pressure on their finances.
He warned that continuing to support financially dependent people could eventually leave someone struggling again.
