Spiritualist Angela Nwosu has opened up about a painful experience she says she suffered at the age of 14.
According to Angela, her mother accused her of having sex with a male friend, a claim she denied.
She said her father later held her down while her mother allegedly assaulted her with Cameroon pepper mixed with kerosene.
Angela said the incident caused her severe pain and left her with an injury.
She explained that the experience deeply affected her and that she spent many years blaming herself for what happened.
According to her, the injury later resulted in a persistent discharge and bad smell, which caused her further embarrassment at home and in school.
Now a mother herself, Angela said the experience still affects the way she disciplines her own children.
She explained that she is determined not to repeat the treatment she received as a child or pass the pain on to her children.
“I don’t want to end up like my mother. I don’t want to do to them what my mother did to me,” she said.
Angela added that although she is now an adult, she still struggles to find closure over the experience.
