In a statement shared by NITDA on Thursday, Inuwa highlighted the administration’s commitment to digitalisation, human capital development and the creation of an enabling environment for Nigerians to develop innovative solutions.
He said the government’s focus on technology and digital transformation would help position Nigerians to participate more actively in the emerging global digital economy.
According to the NITDA DG, investing in digital skills and human capital remains critical to equipping young Nigerians with the capabilities needed to create, innovate and shape the country’s economic future.
He made the remarks in the build-up to GITEX Nigeria, as the country continues to strengthen its technology and innovation ecosystem.
NITDA said the President’s agenda is aimed at creating the conditions necessary for technology entrepreneurs, innovators and other players in the digital economy to thrive.
The agency noted that the administration’s emphasis on digitalisation and innovation is expected to support economic diversification while expanding opportunities for Nigerians in the technology sector.
