Gomoa Central Member of Parliament Kwame A-Plus has reportedly forced to leave New Winneba after angry residents confronted him during a visit to the area following a deadly land dispute.

According to reports, the lawmaker had visited the Effutu North District Police Command to gather firsthand information about the violent clash, which allegedly resulted in the deaths of three people and left about 15 others injured.

The tension allegedly became intense, leading security personnel to escort the MP away from the area for his safety.

The incident comes after a reported gun battle between residents of Gomoa Oguaakrom and New Winneba linked to a land dispute, which has heightened concerns among residents and authorities.
