A young lady, Obianuju Ritanwa Anaeto, has opened up on the end of her marriage after her ex-husband reportedly collected his bride price from her family.
The emotional post shared on Facebook has since attracted reactions online, as she reflected on her journey from marriage to separation and eventual end of the marriage.

According to her, she got married and had earlier shared moments from the relationship online.
However, the union reportedly broke down, leading to a separation that began in May 2023.
She later revealed that the bride price was officially returned on June 13, 2026, marking the final stage of the marriage dissolution.
Emotional Reflection
She described the experience as painful, noting that what she once believed would last forever eventually came to an end.
In her words:
“BRIDE PRICE RETURNED.
Today being 13th June 2026.
My Ex husband collected his Bride price at my father’s.
Separated since May 20, 2023.
