After more than 100 days of conflict, the United States and Iran are set to sign a landmark peace agreement on Friday, according to an announcement by US President Donald Trump. The deal follows a series of statements this week indicating that a ceasefire had been reached between the two sides. According to Al Jazeera correspondent Osama Bin Javed, the delegation spent nearly 17 hours in discussions in the Iranian capital before returning to Doha, helping both sides finalize the framework of the agreement.
