Japan secures second spot

Japan ranks second with nearly $1.383 trillion in forex reserves. The country’s technology and automobile industries play a major role in strengthening its economy.

Switzerland at third position

Despite being a small country, Switzerland stands third with about $1.1 trillion in reserves. Its world-famous banking system and financial services sector make it a global economic hub.

Russia ranks fourth

Russia is in fourth place with around $758.7 billion in forex reserves. Even after facing sanctions and global tensions, the country has managed to maintain a strong reserve position.

India enters top five

India ranks fifth with nearly $690 billion in foreign exchange reserves. The strong reserve reflects India’s growing economy, import capacity, and stable currency position.

Germany and Taiwan

Germany holds the sixth position with around $640 billion, while Taiwan ranks seventh with nearly $602.49 billion in reserves. Both countries are known for strong exports and advanced industries.

Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia stands eighth with around $496 billion in forex reserves. The country’s oil exports continue to be the biggest source of its economic power.

Hong Kong and South Korea

Hong Kong ranks ninth with about $442.1 billion in reserves, while South Korea takes the tenth spot with nearly $427.88 billion. Both economies are major players in global trade and technology.
