The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), Yazeed Shehu Danfulani, has gifted a brand-new vehicle to a supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Zamfara State.
The beneficiary, Comrade Sanusi Sa’adu Bungudu, an indigene of Bungudu Local Government Area, was honoured for what his benefactors described as his dedication to grassroots mobilisation, community service and support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to a statement by Danfulani’s Special Assistant on Media, Yariman Kwaren Ganuwa, the vehicle was presented to Bungudu on behalf of the NAIC boss by his political ally, Yusuf MD Gusau.
Speaking during the presentation, Danfulani said the gesture was not merely about giving out a vehicle but about recognising an individual’s contributions to his community.
“The gesture goes beyond the presentation of a vehicle, but represents recognition of commitment and an investment in an individual who contributed his time, energy and resources to community service and grassroots engagement,” he said.
Danfulani added that he would continue to support people contributing to grassroots development and party mobilisation.
“For me, leadership is increasingly measured by visible impact, and I’ll continue to demonstrate a practical approach to empowerment—supporting persons of great minds, recognising loyalty and responding to the contributions of those working at the grassroots for our dear party, the APC,” he said.
“Commitment should be recognised, dedication should be appreciated, and those who serve their communities should never be forgotten,” he added.
Bungudu expressed appreciation to Danfulani for the gesture and pledged continued loyalty to the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle.
He also prayed for the protection and success of President Tinubu, Matawalle, Danfulani and other APC members and stakeholders in Zamfara State.
