29-Year-Old Ghanaian Goes On Attack Spree In Italy, Destroys Properties

A 29-year-old Ghanaian man has allegedly gone on a violent rampage in Martina Franca, Italy, attacking several people and vehicles before residents stepped in to bring the chaos to an end.

According to reports, the incident began when the man reportedly blocked an elderly woman’s car along the street, before proceeding to snatch her bag from her.

Instead of fleeing the scene afterward, he is said to have continued his rampage, wielding a stick which he used to strike other vehicles and pedestrians unfortunate enough to be in his path.

Footage circulating online captures part of the chaos, showing the man being chased and eventually confronted by residents who moved to restrain him after witnessing the string of attacks.

The video shows a tense pursuit along the street as bystanders worked together to stop him from causing further harm.

The incident has since drawn attention both locally in Italy and among the Ghanaian community abroad, with many expressing concern over the safety implications of such an attack and its potential impact on the image of Ghanaians living in the diaspora.

We are yet to find out what triggered the man’s alleged actions or the extent of injuries sustained by those affected.

As of the time this report was filed, it was not yet made known whether he had been formally arrested or what charges, if any, he may be facing following the incident.
