Arsenal 3-0 Fulham: Saka stars as Gunners ease past Fulham

Arsenal moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win over Fulham at the Emirates, inspired by the return of Bukayo Saka.

Saka shines on return

Saka marked his first league start since March with a goal and an assist, showing no signs of rust after recently returning from injury.

The winger was central to Arsenal’s attacking dominance, repeatedly troubling Fulham’s defence.

He set up Viktor Gyokeres for the opener after beating his marker on the right flank, before adding the second himself with a composed finish from close range.

Arsenal take control early

Arsenal effectively settled the contest before half-time, with Gyokeres grabbing his second of the evening by heading home a cross from Leandro Trossard.

The hosts controlled possession throughout, limiting Fulham’s attacking threat while maintaining consistent pressure in the final third.

Focus shifts to Europe

With the result secured early, manager Mikel Arteta withdrew Saka to manage his fitness ahead of the upcoming Champions League semi-final second leg.

The victory strengthens Arsenal’s title position while also boosting their goal difference, maintaining momentum in both domestic and European competitions.
