David Ekubo, a relative of late Nigerian public figure Alex Ekubo, has recounted his last conversation with the actor, saying it has left him with doubts about the events that led to his hospitalisation and death. His remarks were contained in a report shared by NIGERIAN TRIBUNE on Sunday June 28, 2026.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, David said the conversation happened shortly before Alex’s passing. According to him, they were initially on a voice call when Alex switched to a video call to respond to rumours circulating online that he had left social media due to illness.
