According to a report by Daily Post on Sunday, June 28, 2026, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has stated that the party has no need to resort to violence to secure victory in the August 15 governorship election.
He maintained that violence has never been a legitimate means of winning elections and insisted that the APC remains committed to a peaceful and democratic electoral process.
