The two-time World Cup runners-up secured the win at the Municipal Stadium in Brzeg, Poland, with Mary Mamudu scoring the decisive goal in first-half stoppage time.
The victory provides a timely morale boost for Moses Aduku’s side as they prepare for their opening Group B fixture against Spain on Monday, September 7.
