Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed that she is considering stepping away from social media and embracing a quieter life in the countryside.
She gave the hint in an X post on Tuesday, and also shared a photo of herself staring into the distance.
“Just still thinking about deleting social media, moving to the countryside and buying 3 goats. Nothing major,” the billionaire heiress stated.
The daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, DJ Cuppy remains one of Nigeria’s most trolled celebrities on social media.
This is not the first time she has spoken about stepping back from social media, where she enjoys considerable following.
She has 8.3 million followers on Instagram, 6.9 million on X, and 4.3 million on Facebook.
In January, she announced a temporary social-media break to “reset and reconnect,” saying she needed quiet time “being hidden with God” while beginning a 21-day fast.
“Never done this before, but I’m taking a short break from social media.
“I need some quiet time with myself and time being hidden with God. I’m okay and just taking a moment to reset and reconnect.
“I’ll be back,” she wrote on January 5.
She resumed posting on February 9.
