Prophet Badu Kobi has shared a testimony about veteran Ghanaian musician Daddy Lumba, claiming that a spiritual instruction led him to gift the musician a brand-new Mercedes-Benz during a time he was battling illness.
According to the founder of the Glorious Wave Church International, Daddy Lumba visited him while he was unwell.
He said that at the time, he had recently purchased a convertible Mercedes-Benz for himself, but he claimed God instructed him to give the vehicle to the legendary musician.
“When Daddy Lumba came to me, he was sick. At the time, I had bought a brand-new convertible Mercedes-Benz for myself just a week earlier. God told me to gift the car to Daddy Lumba, and through that, he would be empowered and his sickness would go away,” he said.
The prophet further claimed that after giving the car to Daddy Lumba, the musician’s health improved, adding that he even destroyed the medicines the musician was taking.
Badu Kobi also revealed that over the years, he has given out hundreds of gifts, including cars and properties, as part of what he described as his service to God.
He claimed to have gifted a total of 372 cars and properties to people, saying the acts were done based on spiritual direction.
The claims have generated conversations among Ghanaians, with some supporters praising his generosity, while others have questioned the connection between material gifts and healing from illness.
