A lady living in Awka, Anambra State in Nigeria has gotten the shock of her life after stepping out of her apartment and returning to find not one, but three monkeys casually stationed right at her front door.
Footage from the scene shows the animals moving freely along the corridor outside her apartment, long tails trailing behind them as they explored the tiled hallway, with two of them even playfully interacting near a trash bag while the third sat calmly closer to her door.
What should have been an ordinary walk back home instead turned into a moment of pure disbelief for the tenant, who let out a startled “Jesus!” the instant she spotted them.
Rather than scattering at the sight of her, the monkeys appeared largely unbothered, continuing their playful antics along the corridor as though they had every right to be there.
The lady, clearly rattled by the unexpected encounter, captured the moment on video, joking that life in Awka was throwing more her way than she’d bargained for.
The clip has since drawn amused reactions online, with many finding humor in her shocked response, even as others wondered just how the trio had wandered so deep into a residential building in the first place.
