The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Muslim faithful across the country to embrace peace, compassion and peaceful coexistence as they commemorate Eid-el-Maulud 2026.

In her message marking the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the First Lady extended warm greetings to Muslims across Nigeria.

She said the occasion was a reminder of the Prophet’s exemplary life and enduring virtues of compassion, forgiveness and peaceful coexistence.

Tinubu encouraged Muslim faithful to emulate these virtues and continue to promote peace in their homes, communities and the nation.

She expressed hope that the celebration would strengthen the bonds of unity among Nigerians and bring renewed hope, peace and blessings to the country.
