Popular streamer Peller has responded to comedian Carter Efe after he claimed that pressure from social media and the internet influenced the content creator’s decision to marry Jarvis.
In an interview on X, Carter Efe said online expectations and comments can put pressure on people to make decisions about their relationships.
Carter Efe said: “The internet is crazy. It’s pressuring them to marry.”
He also explained why he was not invited to Peller and Jarvis’ wedding, saying: “Na why dem no invite me come their marriage, dem dey see me as witch, so dem no invite me.”

Speaking from his own experience, Carter said there was a time when his relationship became intertwined with his content creation, adding: “There was a time I could not do content if I don’t see my woman.”
He said the experience eventually made him decide to take control of his personal choices, stating: “I have to use my own brain. I said no. It cannot continue like this.”
However, Peller replied in a video saying, “Carter Efe, I respect you a lot. If not, I would have ended your career a long time ago.”
He also accused Carter of repeatedly advising him to leave Jarvis, saying: “Every time we’re together, you will tell me to leave my wife.” Peller further criticised what he described as Carter’s competitive attitude, warning: “Competition will kill you.”
