According to Premium Times, the musician was buried on Wednesday at her residence following funeral activities attended by her children, family members, colleagues and admirers.
Veteran Juju singer Gentleman Dele Taiwo was among those who joined the family and members of the traditional music community to bid farewell to Saint Janet.
Videos from the burial ceremony showed emotional moments as her children and other mourners gathered around her remains before she was laid to rest.
The burial followed funeral activities that began on Tuesday with a candlelight service, Christian wake and Artists’ Night held at the AIT/Faaji FM compound in Kola Alagbado, Lagos.

The family had earlier announced that Saint Janet would be buried at her residence in Abeokuta.
Popularly known as “Mama Yabis,” Saint Janet established herself as a distinctive voice in Nigeria’s Juju and Highlife music scene, combining music, humour, satire and social commentary in her performances.
Her energetic stage presence and unconventional style earned her a strong following within the traditional music community.
TVC News earlier reported that the Nigerian entertainment industry was thrown into mourning following the death of the popular Juju and Highlife musician.
