The former Governor of Zamfara State and Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, today led thousands of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in his hometown and ward in affirming His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the APC presidential candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.
HM Matawalle joined party faithful to exercise his civic responsibility and reaffirm their support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid.
In addition, HM Bello Matawalle expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates would record decisive victories in the 2027 general elections. He described the massive turnout of supporters as a clear demonstration of the strength of democracy and growing public confidence in the APC-led administration.
The Minister further stated that the people of Zamfara State remain firmly loyal to the APC and fully committed to the success of President Tinubu’s administration. He also expressed optimism that the APC would secure sweeping victories across all elective positions in the forthcoming elections.
