Speaking in a video shared by News Central TV, Otu revealed that the victims were denied both food and water throughout the period they were held captive. She said she pleaded with the kidnappers to spare her life after explaining that she was a widow who had spent 12 years struggling to raise her children.
According to Otu, the gang leader responded that even if she died, God would look after her children. She said the remark left her devastated and speechless, causing her to stop begging for mercy.
