President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, on his birthday, describing him as an experienced administrator and committed patriot.
In a statement on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu commended Oyetola for his contributions to the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly efforts to unlock the economic potential of Nigeria’s maritime sector.
The President said initiatives under Oyetola’s leadership had helped improve efficiency in the maritime industry, attract investment, create jobs and strengthen Nigeria’s competitiveness in the global maritime sector.
Tinubu also highlighted Oyetola’s career in the insurance industry and his subsequent public service as Chief of Staff to the Osun State governor before becoming governor of the state.
“Your years of service to our country as an insurance icon, public servant and political leader demonstrate your commitment to the development and prosperity of Nigeria,” the President said.
He added: “As Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, you brought experience and dedication to the task of transforming our maritime sector into a major driver of economic growth, investment and employment.
“I commend your contributions to the Renewed Hope Agenda, and I encourage you to remain steadfast in the service of our nation.”
President Tinubu prayed for Oyetola to be blessed with good health, wisdom and many more years of service to Nigeria and humanity.
