The United States has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting efforts to promote peace, security and religious freedom in Nigeria.
US Chargé d’Affaires Jimmy Mauldin joined faith leaders in Abuja to discuss ways of advancing peace and security while protecting freedom of religion.
The US Mission said, “CDA Jimmy Mauldin joined faith leaders in Abuja to advance peace, security, and religious freedom in Nigeria.”
It added, “The United States is proud to stand with those working to end violence against Christians and protect freedom of religion in Nigeria.”
The engagement highlights the US commitment to working with religious and community leaders on efforts to reduce violence and promote respect for freedom of religion in Nigeria.
