Zaidu Sanusi has been cleared to return to action after injury, handing FC Porto a timely boost ahead of their decisive league clash against FC Alverca.
The Super Eagles full-back had been sidelined with a muscle problem sustained during Porto’s win over C.D. Tondela, forcing him to miss key fixtures including a domestic cup tie against Sporting CP.
Medical clearance boosts Porto options
Zaidu has now resumed full training without restrictions after receiving the green light from the club’s medical team, confirming his availability for selection.
His return strengthens a squad that has faced injury concerns in recent weeks, offering more depth at a critical stage of the campaign.

Manager Francesco Farioli is expected to reintegrate the defender as Porto push to secure the league title.
Title within reach for league leaders
Porto head into the weekend fixture in a strong position, sitting top of the table with a seven-point lead over SL Benfica with three matches remaining.
The Nigerian international has grown in influence in the latter part of the season, contributing one goal and one assist in 16 league appearances.
