A group known as “APC Mandate Squad, Achi Clan & other Concerned Citizens” has faulted a media publication, saying political revolution looms in Oji-River over breach of zoning arrangement.

A statement issued by Nze Jeff Uke (Egbeigewe Jesus) on behalf of the group, stated there is no cause for alarm in Achi Clan and Oji-River Local Government Area over 2927 general election, reaffirming support for Governor Peter Mbah.

Parts of the statement read:

“There is no cause for alarm in Achi clan and Oji-River local government area over 2027 general election.
the paid publication is ranting of minor confused opposition elements who sponsored one ugo omere to parade and claim a spokesman for Achi clan which he is not.
.
“We plead with the governor of Enugu State his excellency dr peter ndubuisi mbah and the general public to disregard the misguided publication.
.
“APC as a formidable political party has taken over achi clan in particular and oji river in general.
.
“We have credible party men and women who understand the supremacy of our great party apc under the leadership of indefatigable governor of enugu state Dr Ndubuisi Mbah on whose directives we respect and follow with undivided loyalty.

“Achi clan and the general public know who spoke for achi clan when his excellency Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah visited Achi on 21st December 2025.

“The opposition group has lost grip with massive infrastructural developments of APC-led government in the past three years and the latest flag-off of over 35 kilometres of virgin road network linking Achi clan to two local government areas in Enugu State for which we remain very grateful.
.
“APC as a political party has organized groups known as APC Mandate Squad in Achi Clan and Oji-River LGA under our powerful party leadership structure from zonal to ward levels.
.
“Our traditional rulers, town unions and APC members are at peace with our Governor his excellency Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. The display of our appreciation for numerous legacy projects will be reflected in our votes come 2027 general election results.
