The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has warned users about multiple critical vulnerabilities affecting Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
The vulnerabilities affect Remote Desktop components and could enable attackers to access sensitive information, bypass security protections, escalate privileges or execute malicious code on vulnerable systems.
Users and system administrators are advised to apply available security updates, keep Windows systems up to date and follow recommended cybersecurity best practices to reduce the risk of exploitation.
