Abayomi Arabambi, the factional National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the Labour Party, has expressed the view that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar remains one of the strongest political figures capable of mounting a serious challenge against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking during an interview on SYMFONI TV, Arabambi argued that the growing number of southern politicians seeking the presidency could significantly split votes across the southern region, a development he believes may ultimately work in Atiku’s favour.
