The BTO for PBAT ’27 Support Group has reaffirmed its commitment to party unity and the collective success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, declaring that every duly nominated candidate remains its official candidate.
The group stated its position through a press release signed by its Director-General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon (Ado’G).
He urged members of the group, the broader BTO political family, and APC supporters across the state to close ranks following the conclusion of the party’s nomination exercises.
According to Adojutelegan, the group’s stance aligns with a direct instruction from its Grand Patron, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Nigeria’s Minister of Interior.
”Our position is clear and unwavering: every duly nominated candidate of the APC in Ondo State is our candidate,” the statement read.
The group appealed to APC members to resolve personal differences and work collectively for all party flag bearers across every level of government. It outlined plans to concentrate its efforts on strengthening APC structures at the grassroots through voter education, legitimate mobilization, and active community outreach.
Furthermore, the statement underscored the need for internal discipline and unity—stretching from the polling-unit level up to the wards, local governments, and State and National Assembly elections.
Reaffirming its broader national mandate, the support group pledged unwavering backing for President Bola _Tinubu’s_ reelection campaign alongside all other validly nominated APC candidates.
