European Union ambassadors in Nigeria have held discussions with the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, on Nigeria’s economic partnership with the EU and the impact of ongoing reforms.
The meeting, described as an insightful and cordial exchange, was held at the EU Delegation and brought together members of Team Europe and the minister.
Discussions focused on the EU-Nigeria economic partnership, the effects of past and ongoing economic reforms, as well as Nigeria’s socio-economic indicators and emerging trends.
The engagement provided an opportunity for both sides to assess developments in Nigeria’s economy and explore ways of strengthening economic cooperation between Nigeria and the European Union.
