Nigerian music sensation, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has been named among international stars to perform at the 2026 edition of the Mawazine Festival in Rabat, Morocco.
The annual music fiesta is organised by Maroc Cultures, featuring a wide range of international and local music artistes across various genres.
According to the organisers, the 21st edition will run from June 19 to 27, with Rema slated to headline the prestigious OLM Souissi Stage on June 24.
The festival is scheduled to hold across multiple venues in Rabat and neighbouring cities, with concerts, cultural exhibitions and entertainment activities lined up throughout the festival period.
Mawazine, acclaimed to be one of the world’s largest music festivals, features over 90 acts across seven stages, including massive international and regional stars, drawing over 3.75 million visitors to the capital and Salé.
It is regarded as one of Africa’s biggest cultural and music events, attracting music lovers around the world yearly and features performances from artistes across different genres and countries.
The festival offers an intense, high-energy environment, creating a festive atmosphere throughout Rabat’s city center.
